high chair redo!

I bought this high chair a few months back at a kids consignment store. When I brought it home and told Brian that I was going to paint it and make it cute he said "I'll believe it when I see it!" (I guess I have started way to many projects that I haven't finished. He knows me well!) I am glad I actually finished what I started this time ;) I love it, and Brian does too! I like this new hobby that I have picked up! Thanks Tiff for the inspiration!

My boy!

He rolled over for the first time today! My boy is growing too fast!

He also had his 4 month shots.

He did so well and only cried for a minute but his poor legs are sore.

He weighs 15.5 lbs and is 25 inches long.

Why do my kids think that it is okay for them to grow so fast???

Valentines Day!

We decided to keep it simple for Valentines this year. Kambree got a gift bag with Movies, little toys, and treats. I also bought a small package of balloons and I am sure those were her favorite of everything, even the candy! We still have balloons all over the house!

I gave Brian an itunes gift card and he gave me a slap chopper and salad spinner! I asked him not to get me flowers this year, so he got me these kitchen items! I was so happy! He knew just what I wanted! (Only cause I told him ;))

Kambree and I had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and when Brian got home we grilled some hamburgers!! Mmmm.... they were so yummy!

After dinner we were relaxing on the couch when we heard this big crash! We immediately knew that it was my big mirror :( We had not hung it up yet and Kambree was playing behind it. I cried! I love that mirror. I am so glad that Kambree didn't get hurt. Besides the broken mirror it was a great Valentines day. I love my 3 Valentines so much!!

Sun glasses

Kambree loves to wear sunglasses. For some reason she always put them on upside down!

Games

Last weekend we went to watch Melissa play in her volleyball tournament. She played in a lot of games and is so good! After Melissa's games we went to watch Bradlee in his basketball game. They are both really good! Great job guys! Kambree loves to go watch them play!

Silly Girl

I finally updated our blog. I still have more to do, but I am saving the rest for later. I didn't realize how behind I really was!

Anyways, today Kambree was watching her morning cartoons and she asked me for some juice. I said to her that we were all out of juice. Apparently she didn't believe me because she got off the couch opened the fridge and said "Gahlee T.E., I show you!". She opened up the drawer where we keep her juice and she says "Hey, where'd it go?". Little stink, She calls Brian by his first name and now she has been calling me by my first name. She calls me T.E. instead of Katie. It is cute but every time she says it I say "No, I am mommy!" and she says "Oh, mommy!". Silly girl, she is growing up too fast!

Good Hygiene

Kambree will only brush her teeth with Brian. He pretends there are bugs in her mouth. I try the same thing but I guess I am not as fun. She was wearing my fake glasses. She looked so cute I had to take pictures!

Utah trip

We drove up to Provo for the UNLV vs BYU game and to visit friends and family. We stayed with Tiffani and Chris. Thanks guys! Before we left for Utah I asked Kambree if she wanted to go play with Dempsey at her house, and Kambree said "No, I shy"! That she was, she was so shy towards everyone! She is such a hyper talkative little girl at home but once she gets around anyone else she suddenly gets shy! She eventually warmed up to Dempsey and they loved to play/fight with each other!

We got there late Friday night, Tiff did my hair Saturday morning while the husbands took on all 4 kids. Then we went to the game. UNLV lost. Brian pretty much knew that BYU would win, he prepared himself for the loss!

After the game we went to visit Grandpa and Grandma Harward. Even though Kaden is 4 months old this was the first time that they had seen him.

Grandpa made us a fire. I remember when I was younger sitting by the fire just like the the kids were doing. I love when grandpa builds a fire!

After we hung out at Grandpa and Grandmas house for a while we went to eat dinner. After all the playing Kambree and Dempsey did, they fell asleep in the car on the way over. We didn't want to wake the little sweet monsters so we laid them on a table and let them sleep.

Sunday we drove up to Salt Lake to eat at one of our favorite places called Gormandise. We got all the way up there and they were closed! :( So we went to the Gateway and ate at Rumbi's. Brittni came to meet us, so we got to talk for a little while. I miss her so much! I am so glad we got to see each other. We drove back down to PG to watch the Super Bowl at the Lines house. It was fun, I love being around family. After the game we went to see Gpa and Gma's again. Kambee loves playing with Grandpa at their house.

Monday morning we stopped at Grandma's again to play a little bit then say goodbye. Grandpa went and picked up pizza and we had cake for Grandma's birthday on Friday. We love to visit them and wished we lived closer.

After Grandma and Grandpas we drove to the Red Barn in Santaquin to pick up some Raspberry Jam for Brian's grandparents. We also picked up some cherry salsa! Yummm. Love that place!

We stopped in St. George to visit Jessica, Danny, and sweet baby Kyson. Kyson and Kaden are about 2 months apart. It is so crazy how much they grow in that 2 months! Kaden seemed so big, and Kyson was so small! He was such a cutie, I am so glad we got to see them! We stopped at 25 Main on the way out of St. George to get some cupcakes, then we were on our way home! I was so excited because we got to do everything we wanted to do that day and I was going to make it home in time to watch the Bachelor! BUT.... when we started driving through the gorge Kambree started throwing up! Poor girl! It was everywhere!! We had to stop at the Walmart in Mesquite. We washed her in a sink and changed her clothes. Thank goodness for family restrooms! :) Brian went outside the garden center and an employee helped him spray down the whole car seat. We couldn't let her drive home in the soaking wet car seat so we had to go buy a new one and get some upholstery cleaner for the car. It took forever. At least I made it home in time for the rose ceremony on the Bachelor! I thought that she just got car sick but then she threw up 3 more times after we got home. She must have got a bug.

The trip to Utah was so fun! I am so glad we got to see a our friends and family. We defiantly should get up there more often!

Sibling Love

Kambree loves to help take care of Kaden. She helps feed him, bathe him, lotion him, and she even helps me change his diaper! She is such a good big sister.

Kaden loves to watch Kambree. He smiles and coos at her. He loves to watch her run all around the room. I bet he can't wait to run around with her!
