Update!

It has been so long since I have posted anything... Where do I begin?

* We currently don't have any Internet :( I have to come to the library which sucks! So that is my reason why I haven't posted anything for a while. Once we do get it I promise that I will post some pictures!

*As most of you already know, we moved back to Vegas in September. It is great to be back and close to Brian's family. We are also a little closer to my family in California, which makes a huge difference when driving with a baby!

*Brian is still working with Costco, he works at the MLK location which is a business center. At first, the only position that he could get was working at nights. I am not a fan of the night shifts, I hated going to bed alone at night. He is now training to be a driver. He did ride alongs last week and actually started driving yesterday. He gets home around 3:30 or 4:00 in the afternoon which is much better than getting home at 2:00 in the morning! I am so proud of him and all the hard work he does for us!

* I am currently staying at home with Kambree which I LOVE! I love to spend my whole day with her, she defiantly keeps me on my toes!

* We celebrated Kambree's Birthday in November. She is One! I guess time flies when your having fun! She still isn't walking. I was okay with it for a while but she is killing my back so I am hoping that she starts soon! I just love and adore her! I can't get enough of her little personality!

* Sam is leaving for her mission on January 13th. I am so proud of her and the decision that she made! We are going to miss her so much!! She is going to be an amazing missionary!

Well, for those of you who read our blog, I hope this little update will hold you over till we get Internet set up! We love you all and hope that you are having a wonderful Holiday Season!

Apples

Kambree loves apples, she eats them every single day!

I usually cut them up for her, but yesterday I gave her a whole apple.

These are pretty big bites for only having one tooth on top and 2 on the bottom!

We are moving to...

It is official, we are moving the beginning of October. Brian is transferring to a Costco in Vegas and he starts on the 5th of October. We are excited to be closer to family. We defiantly have a lot of packing to do these next couple weeks!

breakfast

This morning Kambree woke up on the wrong side of the crib... she was so fussy! During breakfast all she did was whine, she wouldn't eat. (I think she is getting some more teeth) Since she wasn't eating I just poured her cereal onto her tray and let her play in it. She ended up sucking a lot of it off her hands, at least she got a little breakfast! She was so messy, but she loved playing in it, so it was worth the clean up!

Vegas

My dad flew in to Vegas yesterday so Kambree, Sam and I drove down to visit him. When we got there we went to eat at the Bellagio buffet and after that we drove out to meet Brian's mom, brother, and sister. After we saw them we did some shopping at the Fashion Show Mall then some more shopping at The Forum Shops in Caesars Palace. Shopping wore us all out so we went to Macayo's for dinner. We didn't get back to St. George till about 1:30 in the morning. (Thanks for driving Sam!) It was a long day yesterday, but we had so much fun. It was nice to go see our dad.

Love

I love this picture of Kambree. This was at the fair, we were waiting on the grass before the demolition derby.

County Fair

Last weekend was the Washington County Fair, and I decided to enter Kambree into the Washington County Cutest Baby Contest. Out of 200 babies they picked 48 finalist. She ended up being one of the finalist so we got to come back the next day. Kambree got 3rd place for her age group. All the winning babies received a ribbon, a stuffed animal, and a growth chart. I am glad that I entered her into the contest. It was fun watching all the cute little kids on stage.

Later that night, we all came back to the fair to watch the demolition derby. It was long, but a lot of fun. It was the last day of the fair so after the derby was over they did a firework show. Kambree was so tired she slept trough all of the fireworks. It was a fun weekend and I am so glad that my parents came up from California.

Super Girl

After her bath on Friday morning, Kambree was crawling around with her towel on her head. We called her Super Girl cause it looked like she had a cape. She is so silly!

Wish she had hair!

Kambree doesn't like wearing her bows with the headbands anymore.... Drives me nuts! She has no hair and I love when she wears the bows! We came to a compromise the other day and I have been gluing little bows on her head like I did when she was born. I have to wait till she falls asleep and takes her nap or else she takes it off. When she wakes up from her nap she has no idea that it is even on her head! The other night when I put her to bed she still had a bow on her head and when she woke up in the morning the bow was still there but it was untied, she is so stinkin cute!

Extras

I was going through the pictures in Brian's phone and I wanted to post some from a little while ago. These are from California, we were at the mall waiting in line at Pinkberry. Looks like Kambree was all shopped out.

Rain

A couple weeks ago it started raining like crazy. Kambree liked watching the rain from the window. It was fun watching her, she is so cute!

Quick Trip.

Friday night we made a quick trip up to Provo. Our friends Brock and Bailey got married, so we drove up to go to the reception. We didn't end up leaving till about 9:30 at night. Brian and I were so tired that we stopped in Filmore and in Nephi to sleep. We didn't get to grandmas till 4 in the morning. We should have just left early in the morning instead of late at night! :)
We woke up to grandpa's yummy breakfast, then I went to get my hair done by Tiff. (Thanks Tiff I love it!). We then went to our old house since we haven't seen it in a while. It was defiantly sad seeing it empty! We had to go home and take a nap before the reception but unfortunately Kambree is the one that decides how long or short our naps are. So after a short nap we went to the reception, it was nice seeing some old friends. Bailey looked beautiful and they looked so happy together. After the reception we went to the mall, we hung out with Tiffani and Chris till the mall closed. It was a pretty long day, we went right to bed when we got home. This morning we got up at 6:00 am to come home. Brian had to be to work at 11. It was a short but fun trip. Hopefully next time we will be able to stay longer!

Ball Games

Once again... we got some hookups from Sam. The hotel has season tickets to the Roadrunner games, so we got to go on Tuesday and Wednesday to watch them play. The Roadrunners are a semi-pro baseball team here in St. George. We had a lot of fun at both games, Thanks Sam!

On Thursday night we got to go and see Brian play soft ball. The team name is Dough Boys hahaha, but he is actually pretty good! By the end of the night he was limping though cause he pulled a muscle, poor guy! Melissa and I both wore white capri's, and we both learned our lesson not to wear white to the fields. We had red dirt all over our pants! Bradlee spent most of the time chasing the balls that were hit out of the field. At the end of the night, after out running all of the other kids, Bradlee finally found a ball! Out of the 3 nights of ball games, my favorite was watching Brian play :)

River!

We spent the morning at the river down the street from our house. It was pretty low, but the water was nice and cool! I think that Bradlee wore Brian and Karl out by having running races up and down the river.

Happy Brithday Cindy!

Brian's parents came up to drop Melissa and Bradlee off at our house and celebrate Cindy's birthday. While his parents went out to dinner alone we made a birthday cake.

Her favorite cake is German chocolate.

Since I am doing a diet I wasn't allowed to have a piece :(

but that didn't stop me from having a few bites! oops! It was so yummy!

Family bonding!

So for this next week Melissa and Bradlee (Brian's brother and sister) are here to stay with us! It has been a while since they have been here so we are so excited. We have some fun plans like the Road Runners baseball game,swimming, a camp out, and some time down at the river. This should be a fun week! Hopefully it will keep our mind off of all the stress in our lives! Plus, they can't get enough of Kambree so as they keep her entertained I can get some stuff done around the house!

Softball

{1} Brian joined a softball team with people at work, he plays every other Thursday. My friend Jessica, Kambree and I went to watch him play last night. At his last game it was close to 100 degrees outside. It was overcast yesterday and even rained, it was so nice! They did a really good job! They played 2 games, they won the first and lost the 2nd. In the 2nd game Brian hit the ball twice! He played so good, I am so proud of him!


{2} Brian and Kambree are pretty much over being sick, but I am still coughing. I think that I was the worst out of all 3 of us. (maybe because I turn into a baby while I am sick) Brian took really good care of us! We girls are so lucky!

{3} I think that we are sticking to St. George as far as moving goes. We haven't found a place yet, but we are on the hunt!

{4} Brian applied for a new position at Costco. If he gets it he would go into work super early in the morning and be done around 12 :00 or 1:00 just in time for me to go to work from 3:00 till 7:00. I am really hoping that he gets this job so I don't have to find a babysitter or put Kambree in daycare when Sam leaves for her mission. So cross your fingers for him!

Runny Noses

{1} Brian has been sick for the past couple days. He has had sore throat, runny nose, and headaches. Last night Kambree got it. Poor girl was so fussy :( Brian made a club called the Runny Nose Club, he calls it the RNC. That is one club that I didn't want to be in, but after our nap today I was feeling sick too. Brian accepted me into their club and now I am a member!

{2} No updates on moving yet. We have been showing the house a lot but we haven't heard of anyone putting an offer in. The owner has about 2 more months before it goes into foreclosure, he is really hoping to sell it before then. We're not sure what we are going to do yet, it would be much easier to stay in St. George, but we kinda want to get out and move somewhere new. I just don't want to leave this house, we have only been in here since April. It's frustrating knowing that he hasn't been paying his mortgage since March. We put down $1,700 for a deposit, are we going to get that back?? What has he been doing with our rent?? Not only that, but he has 4 other investment properties that are going into foreclosure also. He is doing this to 4 other families that were renting his houses. What is he doing with all that money? Whatever we do, we have to do it soon.

{3} My Mom bought tickets for a 49ers game in November! Brian is so excited! He says that I have to put a countdown on our blog! You will see one soon!

Miss Fay

{1} Kambree is now crawling on her hands and knees. She crawls all over the house so mom and dad have to chase her EVERYWHERE! She is so curious and gets into everything she isn't supposed to!

{2} She has also been pulling herself up onto her knees and over the last couple of days she has been pulling up onto her feet. When she wakes up from her nap, she stands up and yells till someone comes to get her! She is such a cutie!

{3} Last night we went to Red Robin with my parents, cause they are travelling through. We taught Kambree to drink out of a straw. Once she figured it out we couldn't take it away from her because she would get mad.

{4} One of my favorite things that Kambree does is picking tiny things up with her cute little chubby fingers. She uses her thumb and pointer, and I think it is just the cutest little thing.

{5}I love how happy she is and love when she giggles. I try do do anything that I can to make her giggle.

{6}Another one of my favorite things is when I walk in the door from work she gets so excited and if I don't pick her up right away then she cries like she has been hurt! I am glad she knows who her momma is!

She watches Karl and she will follow him where every he goes. When she hears his collar jingle she will look for him. She squeals when she sees him and she giggles when he scratches! He loves her too, he will come up next to her and lick her arms and her legs, and she just lets him. It is so cute watching the two of them!

We can't get enough of her! We love her so much and we are so very blessed to have her!

Baby Food

So, I ran out of baby food the other day and I didn't want to go to the store, so I got a can of peaches from my pantry and I blended them. Kambree loved them, so I decided this is what I am going to do for her baby food so I can save money. So today I made Kambree carrots and when I picked it up to pour some in the bowl, the bottom wasn't screwed on tightly and it all fell out the bottom! I had carrots everywhere. I was able to save most the carrots, so in the end I still saved money!
